Akira Code 7 Alert

This is one of the official spots that were broadcasted by the government during the 2019’s curfews over the whole Neo Tokyo Metropolitan area.
As a consequence of the state of National Emergency, "Code 7 Alert" was declared.
Among other extraordinary measures, the Army deployed hundreds of caretaker units in all districts to preserve public order.
Aiming to inform citizens about their new jurisdictional status, some friendly propagandist videos like this one were developed in that period.
Like in many other official productions of that time, the military government persists in presenting a “Defense Condition” preceding a state of war as if it was nothing unusual, along with a joyful melody.
